2. What data we process

Via the contact form: your name, email address and message.

Via email: whatever you put in your message, plus your sender address.

Technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This ends up with our hosting provider (see point 5).

If you become a client: the data needed for quotes, projects and invoicing, such as company name, contact person, address and payment details.

3. Why, and on what basis

Answering your question and preparing a quote: this is a step towards a contract, or our legitimate interest in being able to answer business enquiries.

Carrying out a project and invoicing: this is necessary to perform the contract.

Keeping our records: this is a legal obligation.

Keeping the site secure and available and seeing how many people visit: this is our legitimate interest.

4. How long we keep data

Messages from the contact form or by email: at most 12 months after we have dealt with them, unless a project follows.

Quotes, contracts and invoices: 7 years, because of the tax record-keeping obligation.

Technical data at our hosting provider: as long as needed for security and stability, and no longer than the provider itself applies.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell data. We do use providers who work for us (processors). The main ones:

  • Cloudflare hosts this website, protects it against abuse and measures visits (see point 6). Cloudflare may process data in the US, based on standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Web3Forms processes contact form messages and forwards them to our mailbox. Their servers are in the US and the company is based in India. If you prefer to avoid that, email us directly.
  • Mijndomein provides our domain and email.

Where applicable, we have agreements with these parties about how they handle data. Beyond legal obligations, we share nothing else with anyone.

6. Cookies and statistics

This site does not set cookies. For anonymous visit statistics we use Cloudflare's traffic overview. It is measured on the server, such as the number of visits and the pages viewed, without cookies and without scripts on your device. We do not follow you across websites and do not use it for profiles or advertising.

You will still see a cookie notice. It is there in case we later add something that does require consent, which would only start after you click "Accept". The only thing we store on your own device is your choice itself; it is never sent anywhere. You can change it any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
